Amanda Guilfoyle is a Gestalt Therapist and Supervisor who brings warmth, authenticity, and a deep respect for human diversity to her work. She has extensive experience working with children, young people, adults, and families, supporting people from a wide range of backgrounds, ethnicities, identities and life experiences across Australia.
As the founder of Pella Wellness, Amanda is committed to creating an inclusive, neuro-affirming, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive therapeutic space where people feel safe to explore their experiences, deepen self-awareness, and reconnect with themselves. Her approach is relational, creative, and collaborative, recognising that meaningful change often emerges through genuine contact and compassionate curiosity.
Amanda's work is also informed by Polyvagal Theory, supporting clients to better understand their nervous systems, develop greater self-awareness, and cultivate a stronger sense of safety, connection and regulation.
Amanda completed her Master of Gestalt Therapy through Gestalt Therapy Brisbane and later completed Gestalt Supervision Training through Gestalt Therapy Australia in Melbourne. Alongside her therapeutic work, she is passionate about supporting practitioners through supervision and professional development. Amanda loves working alongside Gestalt students!
Clients have described Amanda as grounded, approachable and deeply present. She works with each person in a way that honours their unique lived experience, recognising that there is no one-size-fits-all path to growth and wellbeing.
Amanda offers therapy sessions in West End and Capalaba, ecotherapy sessions along the Brisbane River, and online sessions for those who are unable to attend in person.
