Find a therapist

With roots in East Africa and a background in Social Anthropology, I bring a depth of lived experience and cultural curiosity to my work. Based in the Northern Rivers for over two decades, I have spent 15 years as a specialist therapist across community and private practice settings.
I hold a Masters in Gestalt Therapy and am a registered clinical psychotherapist with PACFA, with over 9,000 case hours. I specialise in couples therapy, individual psychotherapy, trauma recovery, and clinical supervision.
How I Work
My approach is creative, relational, and deeply human. Drawing on Gestalt therapy as my principle foundation, I integrate somatic, attachment-based and trauma recovery approaches. In addition I am trained in EMDR. With couples, I draw on Susan Johnson’s EFT, Terry Real’s Relational Life Therapy, the Gottman Method, Hakomi, and Ester Perel's work with intimacy.
What I Value
At the heart of my work is a deep reverence for each person's humanity and vulnerability. I believe relationships — with others and with ourselves — are living things that need honest attention and care to flourish. As a fellow traveller in my own 30-year partnership, and complex trauma recovery, I bring both humility and hard-won personal insight to the couples and individuals I work with.
What You Can Expect
You can expect to feel genuinely met and held in a safe, intelligent, and creative space where your full complexity is welcomed. Whether navigating relationship difficulty, personal crisis, or trauma symptoms, I offer a compassionate, tailored presence. You will be met with curiosity, warmth, and directness, in a space to support your change process.
I am a passionate advocate for the LGBTQI+ community and have extensive experience working with same-sex couples.
