About InterPlay

InterPlay encourages participants to be the artists of their own lives, by sharing and integrating playful life-leading practices that enable experimentation with movement, stillness, contact, storytelling, sound and improvisation.

This series of playdates offers opportunities to get to know the basic forms of InterPLay, and to consider how these might be useful in life, work and community. You will be invited to take time to try out, respond and reflect on your experience, to notice, share and to connect to your innate Body Wisdom.

Through these practices you will get to know what lights you up, to make room for what you love and let go of what holds you back from harnessing your creativity. Through sound, movement and stillness participants are invited to feel, to be seen and to be celebrated in all our humanity, imperfections and unbelievable beauty.

InterPlay is committed to sowing seed of cultural competency into the fabric of our teaching, training, communications, and outreach, each of which is essential for expressing our inherent belief in the wisdom of all bodies. Through this we aim to build an appreciation for our diversity and unique stories and all they have to offer.

Heartwork and InterPlay Australia acknowledges the rich cultural histories and continuing connections that First Nations peoples have to the sacred land and waterways in which we work and play and we pay our respects to First Nations Elders past, present and emerging. Let us work together, humbly, with the understanding that Soveregnty was never ceded.
