Gestalt Therapy Brisbane’s policies provide a clear and ethical framework for how we learn, teach, govern, and relate as a community. They support the wellbeing, safety, and rights of students, staff, and educators, while ensuring that the institute meets its obligations as an Institute of Higher Education.
Our policies are living documents, informed by legislation, sector standards, and Gestalt principles of awareness, responsibility, and relational care. They are reviewed regularly to remain responsive to the needs of our learning community and the wider professional context.
Our policies cover key areas including:
- Academic integrity, assessment, and progression
- Student wellbeing, support, and safety
- Equity, inclusion, and respectful conduct
- Complaints, grievances, and appeals
- Privacy, confidentiality, and data protection
- Work health and safety
- Governance, risk management, and compliance
Gestalt Therapy Brisbane is committed to providing a supportive environment for students throughout their time at GTB. Our Student Support Policy outlines the principles and commitments guiding this support.
The accompanying Student Support Procedure details how this support is enacted in practice.
All policies are publicly available and designed to be accessible, transparent, and supportive of fair and ethical practice across the institute.
