How To Start Writing: Developing Your Internal Editor

Workshop Series

Learn From British Gestalt Journal Editors, Christine Stevens & Dora Durvasi

Session 1: An Introductory Workshop For Aspiring And Novice Writers

Participants will be supported to explore their writing process, discover themes close to their heart and begin to find their writing voice. There will be an introduction and theoretical framing for writing, which will be followed by experiential small group work. We`ll look at the process of writing by touching on themes such as figure formation, experimentation, drafts, emergent themes and cross-writing synergy.

Sessions 2: A Follow-Up Workshop For Writers Wanting To Take Their Writing Further

Participants will be supported to discover and explore their internal editor. There will be an introduction and theoretical framing for editing your work. We will look at the process of developing your argumentation style, tone and appropriate structures for your writing. We will touch on themes such as contact and support, intentionality, creative indifference, tight writing sequences and dissemination.
